I've owned many washers before purchasing this one, and this whirlpool washer is by far the best ive had. there's many features and they are simple to use, I love the quick wash and the soak options. Bought this to replace the last Whirlpool washing machine that died for to soon to my liking. Bought the 5 Year extended warranty that was offered by the seller as I doubt this thing will last 5 years. When you open the washing machine the first thing you see is the agitator with Maytag stamped on it. Whirlpool cant even get their own parts in their own appliances.

I bought this just over a month ago & so happy I did. I had the Sears all sensor washer & hated the no control over the water levels, my clothes always felt like they were not rinsed properly. This washer I love it the clothes are washed & rinsed magnificent,feel so clean the agitator is the best wash ever. The noise is a little louder but will get used to it. Would recommend to anyone, actually it was funny we were over at Lowe's looking,saw this washer I purchased but they did not have them in stock,so this lady comes up to me & ask which washer I preferred& I said going to an agitator again, she said also so we were looking together & she liked the same washer I chose, so we went Home Depot something not in stock, but the salesman said why don't you go to Dufresne they have a share house in Winnipeg & probably have them, we were so thankful when we did & the lady was going to Dufresne too. Thank you ! Had excellent service didn't feel pressured by the sales fellow very pleasant. Wish me luck with prize contest would be so happy to win something, I have never won a draw yet!

there are two my family, me and my hsb.. I don't really do a lot of laundry. I wash two queen size sheets with pillow cases and small personnal items of mine. Using bulky setting the sheets come out like they're strangled and tied together The sheet setting isn't much different. I really wouldn't recommend this washer to anyone.

Terrible auto-sensing

If you want to constantly monitor your wash this is the machine for you! The auto-sensing feature simply does not work. 95% of the time there is way too little water, and clothes do not get clean. The other 5% of the time there is way too much water - like when you want to wash greasy or paint covered work clothes separately. At that point the stupid thing fills all the way up. So, you can't do small loads without wasting water. You can't do normal loads without waiting for it to fill and then adding GALLONS of extra water. This is not simply one bad machine. I got a replacement a year later, and it is just as bad after it started tearing my clothes (oh yeah, there's that too!). It is simply terrible. Finally, I've have to say that being required to have a unique "Nickname" to review on this site is absolutely stupid. Like I'm ever coming back to Whirlpool, or like I care if someone else in the whole country has the same name as me.

I purchased this to replace my previous 17 year old unit. I decided on this brand mainly because of the quality and it is the same manufacturer of my previous washing machine. I prefer the more 'manual' type operations as I have had problems with the more electronic units. The only feature that I don't like is the one small push button to start the washer as it seems a bit on the cheap side. It also makes some odd noises as it changes cycles (which is explained in the manual). But these are not enough to be a deal breaker at the price I paid.

I purchased this washing machine about a month ago. It's worth the price. Nothing fancy but it washes. I do wish the spin cycle rung out the clothes a little more than it does. Some items come out wetter than I think they should or wetter than how my previous washers spin cycle used to leave the clothes. I am glad that it's not right in my living space because it is a bit louder than I would like.

Handles the 'heavy' loads that I need done

Basic, solid machine

I bought this 3 weeks ago and it has worked well. It doesn't have any AMAZING features, but it works consistently, which is all I'm asking for from this machine

Sorry Purchase

Did my first load today. Discovered there is no fabric softener dispenser. Seriously? What could that have cost to add to this very basic washing machine? I'm a lifetime Whirlpool purchaser - just bought a new fridge and have had an upright freezer for many years. I have no idea how long that cycle took on this washer and can't find anywhere written that tells you the time for each cycle. I almost feel like this is a "you get what you pay for" situation.

I had an LG front loader a very big machine. It was a monster very large and broke down constantly..I love my new washer . I have a Whirlpool dishwasher and microwave that are over 21 years old and still working great
