I like my new oven, but very sensitive and not user friendly. For older person, had no idea too technical with computer technology. Never connected to phone use. Do not like when open oven, then temp drops and have to hit resume. Not user friendly.

I purchased this product on 30 August 2019. It was delivered on 16 October 2019. I was advised by BestBuy that the problem was with Whirlpool. I am satisfied with the product, but not at all happy with the fulfillment. In fact, if there had been another delay I was on the verge of requesting a full refund. The owner's manual was not clear on the method of turning the ovens off.

Decent oven, but serious issues with touchscreen!

My wife and I really liked the idea of having a smart oven. Unfortunately, we've had nothing but problems trying to connect to the Wi-Fi. Occasionally we are able to successfully navigate the iPhone app for whirlpool, but mostly we can do nothing but turn the light on and off. But, this isn't our main concern. We believe this oven has a very serious issue in its design. Once we've been baking in the oven, the food sometimes creates moisture that rises and escapes when we open the oven door. That moisture somehow interferes with the touchscreen, making it erratically scroll through random menu options, including turning the oven on and off, changing cooking temps, and other erratic behavior, and further rendering the touchscreen temporarily un-usable. This is a very serious. See my videos-the same ones I've also shared with the technicians that attempted to fix the issue. We contacted Whirlpool about these issues multiple times since we closed on our (new construction) home in December 2018. As of today (8 months into our new construction adventures), we have a second oven installed by Whirlpool that gives us the SAME issues and have still had numerous technicians try to navigate the driving cause of these issues. The appliance techs point fingers at the electricians, and the same vice versa. We're at a loss and not sure this will ever be resolved. My wife and I firmly believe this is a design flaw and not an electrical issue with our home. We've had the power company and independent electricians do the appropriate tests-all signs point to the oven, not our electricity. Our confidence is completely diminished in this ever being fixed. Do not buy this oven unless you want a headache, wish to stay on hold with customer service for an hour or more, spend loads of time re-explaining yourself, or incur lots of wasted time getting the "run around." If and when Whirlpool decides to "own" these issues, I'll be happy to provide an update. Difficult to install and poor quality control

It could have been 5 stars if the flex wiring connection was longer. In an effort to save a few cents in manufacturing the electrical connection is to short and hard to work with. It needs to be about 3 inches longer. Also some screws were not properly installed in the back and had to be replaced. It makes me wonder if there are or will be issues I can't see.

Dream oven

To make sure our newly built home had an amazing kitchen. The builder's design center gave us the option to pick a single or double wall unit. We picked the double. This oven bakes very efficiently. My pound cake came out beautifully . Both ovens heat up pretty fast. One of the features that I really like is the touch screen functionality. It's as easy as using a smart phone. If you love to bake this is the over for you!!!!!

Poor App Control

We bought a new house and this unit was part of the appliance package. Trying to use this on the first day, we couldn't figure out how to turn off the oven(s). Then decided to download the Whirlpool app and use it to control the oven. Forget about that! The app is useless unless you want to turn the oven lights on or off. App will only show the oven has heated to 32 degrees. I have it connected to my home Wi-Fi and remote enabled is set to on at the oven. It will not remotely turn the oven(s) on or off. Called the useless service department the 2nd week of February and they couldn't help. Received a call back in late April and the guy only called to see if the app was working and when I said it wasn't, he basically ended the call. I have no faith that this unit will ever work correctly with the app.

I bought this new oven because they quit making replacement parts for the Whirlpool oven I had. It cooked one meal before it quit working. After having it serviced twice without fixing it, I demanded a new oven. Getting Whirlpool to replace this was like pulling teeth. They wanted to keep repairing the broken oven! After threatening to hire a lawyer, they agreed to replace it. I received another brand new oven....on which the clock runs fast on. It gains about 5 minutes per week. Not looking forward to calling in for the repair. I am a general contractor by trade and have always recommended Whirlpool appliances in the custom homes we build. Not anymore! I think Whirlpool has gotten caught up in making appliances as cheap as possible....almost disposable!

Very Nice Unit!

I bought this oven to replace a 17 year old KitchenAid double wall oven which died.This unit fit into the cut out for the old one with no problem. The first thing one notices about this unit is the size of the windows. This combined with the lights allow you to get a great view of what's going on inside the unit. I made Easter dinner using both ovens and it worked flawlessly. The heating was quick and the heat was even. In fact, the heat was quicker and more even than the older KitchenAid. Another plus about this unit is that being 5.0 cubic feet in each oven, some trays fit here length ways which did not fit that way in the older oven. I love technology and this oven does not disappoint. Connection to my phone is a nice feature to allow me to monitor cooking progress. What would be nice is the ability to filter out the messages I get. When you've got two ovens going, you tend to get a few phone notifications. Using the touch screen is very easy but I managed to cancel cooking on one oven so I need to spend a bit more time getting familliar with the controls. The price point for this unit was very good too! Pros: Connected technology. HUGE oven space. Quick warm up. Even heating. Great Price. Cons: Cannot cook to a temperature probe (no probe in the unit.)

Innovative Oven

I like the dual oven and the combined control for the upper and lower ovens. The wifi feature is nice but still getting accustomed to using it and of course being able to verify the oven is off while you away is great.

Solid appliance

I bought this oven a month ago and it cooks so well! The features were awesome for the price! My only concern is I bought this with the app feature available! I called to find out why my app can not run the oven and they told me it was a glitch and I would be notified when it was fixed. I am still unable to use my app!

Help!!! sent defective oven

I purchased my oven in December. it took a month to get it in stock and it finally got installed on Friday. Ran both ovens for an hour on 350 degrees at tech advised then cooked something for 45 minutes in top oven at 400 degrees. Saturday morning I decided to make sure the broilers were working. I kept getting error message F8E1. I called whirlpool about my new oven which I purchased extended warranty for upon registering. They were very nice and have a service tech coming to my house on Wednesday to diagnose. I am so so disappointed as I thought since this is a brand new oven they would just simply replace but I have to go through all this timely process. I called the place where I purchased the oven and they even said I had to go through Whirlpool.. Help. Why am I not simply getting a replacement oven versus all this time consuming mess. My old oven was working when they took it. I should have kept it until the circuit board finally went out for good which was the problem. I do not have time to be without an oven. Help Wjirlpool

Good oven but Bluetooth doesn't work

We are happy with the oven- it's doors are very clear and it heats up fast. It has nice presets but the main reason we bought it was to be able to preheat remotely via phone and that feature doesn't work as of now. Whirlpool told us we had to wait for an app update. We would have gone wirh a cheaper version if we would have known that.

double oven

The user manual left out important information. How do I shut off the oven? It says to press the cancel button. There is NO cancel button on this model. After calling the Whirlpool help line, the person had to call for help to figure out how to CANCEL. The instructions were for a different oven model.

Wow! What a huge difference from my 2011 Whirlpool

30 in. Smart Double Electric Wall Oven with Touchscreen in Stainless Steel by Whirlpool. When Home Depot offered this new Whirlpool 30 Inch Smart Double Electric Wall Oven with Touchscreen, I knew that it was time to replace my OEM Whirlpool double oven from when the House was built. I ordered it and it was soon thereafter delivered and installed. The oven is absolutely fantastic. The touchscreen is so easy to operate. The controls to choose either oven or both ovens working consecutively are clear, precise, and easily negotiable. Each oven has two racks. Both ovens are self clean. Both ovens are very accurate with temperature and cooking is even and complete. No burning. No uneven cooking. The oven has Wifi. It automatically updates. If power goes out, the clock automatically sets itself again. The phone app allows you to control your oven on the road if you chose. The cleaning mode has multiple cycles and options, including dry and wet cleaning cycles. I am so happy with this oven. It is such an improvement over my old Whirlpool. I highly recommend it. I rate this product 5*s out of 5. Thank you Whirlpool for offering this item.
