Great Use of Space!

So far we are really enjoying our new microwave and the return of additional space above the stove top! We've had it installed for about 10 days now.
With the 30 second feature/start on the outside, for most items we reheat there isn't really a need to use specific programming buttons on the inside of the door - and it creates a really nice sleek & uncluttered appearance! My only recommendation thus far would have been to include the timer feature on the exterior (with the light and fan) instead of it being an inside button - if you aren't using it to time something prepared in the microwave, you have no need to open the door otherwise.
We haven't encountered anything that we would normally use the microwave for which doesn't fit in this format, and it makes so much sense compared to all the wasted space of our prior OTR microwaves.
For what it's worth, we did have to make some minor repairs to the laminate backsplash below the new microwave from holes/markings for the brackets from where our prior larger OTR microwaves were installed. But for regaining space above the stove top and the updated appearance of this microwave, it's well worth that effort.
Additionally, as others have noted, I love the display messages and volume adjustable tune when the item is ready (rather than just a chime or bell), plus the diamond texture of the back wall of the silver interior. I find myself watching things microwave because the back wall is so pretty. lol. And that you don't have to press the outside buttons at all - a flat touch of the finger tip is all that is needed.
So far we haven't had any issues of uneven or incomplete heating. One caveat - this low profile format may not work well if you have younger children who will be using the microwave - a potential issue is the height when you are removing heated liquids from the microwave. Since you can't really see into the cup/bowl, you do need to be tall enough to be able to readily remove a container of hot liquid without tipping it, etc.
