New innovative style and functions

This microwave filled the bill for me!! I removed the old range vent and installed this new microwave in that same space! Other over-the-range microwaves would have meant removing upper cupboards and would have been a nightmare to fit in. This worked perfectly and has many features other microwaves don't have. We love it!!!

Rotating table

Rotating table Doesn't sit level falls off of the spinner part often you have to get on a chair to fix it I had this installed and it's not something you can just take back to the store. I think this is a manufacturing problem and I would bet other people are having the same problem. I don't have a clue as to how to handle this.

Love my whirlpool microwave but...

I bought my whirlpool microwave about a month ago. I love ALL its features. It does, however, have a little rattle. We had a whirlpool technician come out. He removed a top screw and small lid. The rattle was gone. He replaced screw and lid and rattle was still gone. The technician left the house and an hour later the rattle returned.

The design of the microwave allows for plenty on stove top space and allows me to keep the cabinet above! It user friendly and looks great. We've received many compliments as well! Clean lines

I bought this two months ago. It is very sleek and does everything I need it to do. I love that all the buttons are inside making the lines look so clean. It is easier to clean because there are no buttons or knobs to wipe around. Because the buttons are behind the door they don' t fill up with residue and grease from the stove. When I have company over it is a conversation piece because it is different looking from other microwaves and they can't figure out how it opens or programs until I show them. I mounted mine a little higher because I was constantly Needing more room from the top of the stove to the microwave for stirring in larger pots. I was able to give myself that room with this microwave.

I just happened to spot this unit at the store and ordered it immediately. In my kitchen, the cabinet over the range is 24" high. Ideally it should have been 18" high to allow adequate room for an over the range microwave and fan unit. Since I cannot find a smaller cabinet that matches the existing cabinets, I was going to just install a range hood fan. This "Low Profile" combination unit fits in under the cabinet and still allows 20" clear space between the range and the microwave. A "perfect Solution." Thanks Whirlpool

This is still very new here and has only been used once or twice so we'll know more in time. Still, it is exactly what we needed to maximize our counter space after having a larger countertop microwave. I bought this model because I wanted more space between the top of the stove and the bottom of the microwave to make it easier to cook on the stove with out splashing the microwave. Even with the smaller volume of the microwave I am able to cook everything in it that I did in the larger volume microwave.

Bottom of door cracking!

I so wanted to love this great design , but I need an appliance to last! We had this microwave in a rental condo and saw it after 10 months of use and the whole bottom of the door was cracking. The wArranty was not valid because it was purchased a month (we saw the problem 20 days after warranty) before it was installed.

As the title says we were not looking for a microwave and we did not want one as a matter fact we have not had one in our house for over seven years. We've been re-modeling her house and it was time to go check out the appliance sale we wanted a new range hood but I saw this microwave my wife did not want it but with a better fan and light then all the range hoods and for just a little bit more we decide to get this one what a great decision. The installation was easy especially with the metal template. The low profile and look are awesome and I just use it for the first time and I was impressed.

The microwave/hood fits nicely into the opening in my older cabinets to easily see all of the cooktop below it. My older microwave was much larger blocking the view of part of the cooktop. The "hood" is a part has an effective fan to vent steam (or smoke) outside if you install it that way (as I did). The vent fan has high and low settings and is a separate control from the microwave as is the hood light. The microwave seems to be the right size for my needs. Its settings/buttons are covered by a small panel on the door giving the unit a clean neat look. It looks good to me !

Great Space Saver

I waited a long time for someone to come out with this over the stove size. My cabinet is low and I would have to cut it in half to fit other over the stove microwave.

do not like the features do not like how it works

i bought this microwave because I have a small kitchen and not much counter space and to stay in compliance with code a regular over stove micro would not fit. I do not like opening door to set the programs. I wish I had access to panel the same way most microwave unit do. I prefer to program then open door and put food inside. don't like open door in my face while operating

Whirlpool low profile MW oven

Very handy and looks great. I like the 'door open' button. Touch panel ok but not quite as sensitive as I'd like. Whirlpool has a great product here.
