We had a Maytag Gemini that lasted 15 years, which I loved. The control panel went out about a month ago (right before Thanksgiving) so we purchased this because I wanted the double oven, and we hoped it was similar. We've had this now for about a month. Installation was no issue. It looks nice. The negatives in the reviews I read before purchasing, though, are correct--the bottom oven door landed on my husband's toes the first day. The cooktop is already scratched from an uneven pan bottom (although you have to look to see it, but I see it). I enjoy having the double oven and the different size cooktop options, but I'm finding it hard to manage temperatures in both the oven and on the cooktop. Water takes forever to boil; my turkey took 6 hours instead of the normal 4 1/2. Not loving it.

Awesome Thanksgiving Turkey

We bought this the about 10 days before Thanksgiving, with our other oven going on the fritz. At Thanksgiving we had a house full, and the double oven was a life saver. We cooked the turkey in the larger bottom oven, and we were able to cook the accessories in the smaller top oven simultaneously. Worked out great on it's first big test, and we love it !!!!!

Just finished Thanksgiving dinner yesterday and what a blessing this oven was! The ability to cook different dishes at different temperatures was the absolute best! Plus having a stove top that now can heat my entire 12" diameter iron skillet without cold spots is the best. The only drawback so far is keeping the black top clean as it shows every little spot and is a challenge to keep looking new, even after only a couple of uses. This is cosmetic however and does not distract from the advantages that I see with this stove.

Great Oven - Poor Quaity Stove Top

I have had this stove for one week.The ovens are fantastic but I am very unhappy with the stove top. The first time I cooked on the stove top a liquid dripped and I couldn't clean it off. Yesterday I boiled potatoes on the stove top and the water boiled over and left stains. This is the second flat stove top that I have had. I had the last one for 16 years and never had an issue with staining. I would appreciate any advice on how to clean the Whirlpool brand stove. top. If it wasn't for the stove top stains I would give all five ratings. But a stained stove top is a big deal.

This range is a beauty. Now only does it cook faster than my older range, it is a thing of glamor. I never thought I would say this about a stove, but the styling is a work of art. I have baked in the ovens and gotten perfect results. It has a lot of 'bells and whistles' on it too. Many different pan setting, including melt chocolate. Also a warming zone spot. The oven elements are covered for easy cleaning with regular or steam. I haven't tried the 'true convection' yet. I am wowed by this range, and THE PRICE IS FABULOUS! I have been searching for quite a while for a double oven range. I am thrilled with this purchase. My neighbors and friends too!

I spent 5k on all new Whirlpool kitchen appliances from Costco 3 months ago, in August of 2019. This oven has been the biggest problem. The most frustrating problem is that the stove top glass looks terrible after around a dozen or so uses. I've tried cleaning it frequently with stovetop cleaner but it seems to be permanently discolored / damaged. Crazy to have a brand new over that I paid over $1000 for that looks this bad already. Also, the design of the oven also doesn't allow for the over to be pushed back to the wall due to the electric plug location. I didn't experience either of these problems with my previous Whirlpool oven.

We brought this stove 3 weeks ago and are very please with it. The glass top has been much easier to clean than our former gas range but not as easy as described. It has been great to have two ovens size for different needs. We end up using the top oven which is smaller because mostly there are just two of us. We have learned that it's best to always pull out the shelve when removing dishes to prevent being burned. The stove top knobs need more light to see the various settings and there is a definite learning curve involved in using them but it's getting better each day. Overall it has been a good addition to our kitchen and recommend this stove to others

I have owned my double oven for a little over a month now, and so far every thing works just as it should. I like it very much. I think it looks very nice and the controls are easy to understand. I'm having a little trouble keeping the cook top perfectly clean (spots of liquid harden and are hard to remove), but I suspect that is a generic problem with glass cook tops. My installer also had a problem getting the range to set perfectly flush against the wall, so the stove protrudes about one half inch from my kitchen counter tops. That's not too much of a problem. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

I bought this double oven about a month ago. I had my old stove for about 29 years and it was a good friend but I knew it was time to trade it in. I'm loving this double oven. I bake a lot and being able to do 2 things at one time is wonderful!!!

Only had the oven for about six weeks or so but I am enjoying it. We replaced a 15 year old one so the new one took some getting used to. It cooks differently than the old one so I'm still learning. I didn't know how much I would use the double oven outside of holiday entertaining but I definitely have used it! I like the burner size controls also.

I decided to go with the double oven since it's just my husband and I at home. I didn't like always waiting for the entire oven to heat up - this top one doesn't take long and it's perfect for the items I bake. The only thing I wish is that the rack was about 1/2 inch higher because it's a little difficult to grab a pan because the door is in the way.

I have barely had this a week and the light in the bottom oven is already out. I would suggest and like the smaller top oven to have the door be able to tilt down a little bit more so it's easier to take items out.

This was a replacement to a older model appliance that had broken. We chose the this model and are very pleased with the way it works. The top burners heat very quickly as does the ovens, much faster in our older model. It seems to be easy to use. We only had it for a month but have experimented by using all of the features that are available on the model. We are very please with this purchase and would recommend it to friends and neighbors.

Turned into a lemon quickly

I purchased this oven May 30, 2018 and by January 9, 2019 both ovens were not cooking properly. The repair people tried for 6 months to fix it and it still doesn't work. The ovens heat to the temperature but when you insert the food the heat escapes and there is no recovery, so it undercooks everything. I can't use the timer because it will shut off automatically and food will not be done. I now have a gray film inside each oven, what is that?!! I believe this range is a lemon, since Whirlpool can not fix it. I can't trust it to cook properly so after 6 months of use, I will be looking for a new range to replace it. Pretty expensive stove for working just 6 months. I gave it one star because you have to choose a rating and no stars is not an option. Very, very unhappy owner.
