Broken more than it works

Our Condo switched to ventless Dryers so we decided to treat ourselves and purchase the matching washer as our other machine was aging but still working. This machine has been broken more than it has been working. We have received 3 new machines and had the control panel replaced all with similar results constantly getting error code DEN machine won't spin, timer not working, machine won't unlock and once it turned on itself. Started with calling whirlpool customer service. Spent several occasions 5 plus weeks without a washing machine or hearing back regarding a repair time. When it turned on on it's own customer service wasn't able to talk to us until a safety report had been filed which took over a week. Wrote an email to whirlpool about concerns and disappointment and received an email saying Canada doesn't have an email customer service team but I could call the 1-800 number. Very unhappy would not recommend.

It's fine

We built a brand new RV. It came from the manufacturer to us. No one else has lived in it. It's brand new just for us. We added the option of a washer dryer. It came with Whirlpool. We thought great! Whirlpool is a great brand. We have had our RV and our washer dryer for just barely 3 months and our washer has already broken. Call up Whirlpool to fix it, it's going to be 2 weeks before someone can come fix it. So now I'm stuck going to the laundromat and spending $25-30 to wash my clothes then bring them home to be dried. Not really what you want to do after spending $1000 on a washer. It shakes uncontrollably on the spin cycle. The dryer isn't the worst but I actually hate it too. Overall not too happy. When these go out we will be replacing them with Samsung, like what we have at home in our house.

Way too small and terrible to use

Moved into a brand new apartment and this want to be technology driven washer wouldn't even turn on.. and the maintenance techs couldn't even figure it out. It says hold down to start but doesn't even start. This washer is terrible

Bought this to replace a 2-year-old one that went bad. Did a load a day for 2 weeks and it quit working. Although under warranty, sitting here with no parts because they are on back-order. Not impressed, Whirlpool!

Horrible User Guide

I live in an apartment complex and these are the "New" so called washers that they are using now. When i received my washer it worked okay for about 1 week and 1/2 and then just stopped working altogether. I can still turn on the washer but the only thing that happens is a time of 2:20 for a wash cycle and it won't fill up it won't run it won't even let me select different options. I called the apartment maint. and of course no help they are clueless. Called Whirlpool and they claim they have never heard of the issue i'm experiencing. I have unplugged it, cleaned the filter, held buttons, detached and reattached hoses and nothing happens. Worst washer ever!!!

Worst Washer ever...

We purchased a very expensive RV and this model washer is what we went with. Picked up the RV at the factory, after 1 load of washing it quite working. Luckily we were still doing the orientation so they replaced the washer with a brand new one. Use it 3 times and now the second unit has stopped working. Pulling these out of a luxuary RV is very problematic and you take a risk of damaing the RV having to pull it out. We now have the repair man waiting on parts, bad computer board and door lock. All I can say, run from this model of washer. Our cheap RV type washer and dryer in our last unit never gave problems and worked flawlessly. Thought we were smart getting residential quality name brand and it has turned out to be nothing but problems. I personally think they have engineering issues since we are having problems with multiple washers of the same model.

I finally got this one after waiting months for it. They had to return the 1st one because it was defective. This one I have to hold the start button down for several minutes several times before it finally starts.

We purchased this washer about two months ago. It washes clothes fine, but the timer is the problem. In the middle of the cycle the timer will jump 10, 12, 60... minutes. You never know how long a load is going to take. Several times the washer ended with the timer at 12 minutes. It is very frustrating. My husband has contacted both the store we purchased from and Whirlpool and they say this is just how it works. That is ridiculous! Why does a washer timer stop on anything but 0??!!! I have a small area for the washer to fit. If I had another option, I would return this washer.

The first washer did three loads and quit. All computerized circuits not working. Got a new one which worked for five loads and the same thing happened. Had to pay a electrician to check power source which turned out to be good. No explanation as to why this keeps happening.

Bought Whirlpool washer, dryer, dishwasher, and Refrigerator-freezer a little more than a year ago. That was stupid. Bought the extended warranties. Thinking that was smart. No problems so far with dishwasher or fridge (crossed fingers) but washer does marginal job of cleaning clothes (cannot use bleach) and dryer takes forever to dry clothes. Six months ago dryer stopped working and control components needed replacing. Took weeks to get parts and fixed. Last month washer stopped working and control components on it needed replacing. Again, weeks for parts and repair. All this for controls that are difficult to use. Thinking of saving laundromat expense and aggravation by pitching these in the ditch and replacing (not Whirlpool).
