Bought this for the wifi and extra capacity. It cleans well does it's job. I've tried connec une to the internet for a month now and I still can't connect my washer to the app. Disappointed to buy something that doesn't work when I could had went a mode lower for a cheaper price.

Great Washer

We have only had this washer a few weeks and it replaced a 15 year old Bosch that had developed multiple issues. The Maytag has great features and a very much needed an appreciated Quick Wash cycle. It is very quiet and spins without any vibration and gets the laundry very dry just from the spin.

I just purchased this set a week ago after my LG gave out. This is my first front load and I was so excited. Upon my first attempt to use, I was a bit surprised that my washer did not start. After contacting my Salesperson, he instructed me to unplug and replug it in. It did then start and since has been fine... I am looking forward to many years with this machine and all its features and they make my laundry room look fantastic and updated too.

most features and functions are good have not had machine long enough to rate overall performance. However the sound levels are a joke. they are so low I cannot hear them even with my hearing aids. Re: the sound level alone I would not recommend this machine to anyone else and would not buy it again for that reason. Other features, and performance thus far (2 weeks) seems ok.

Even though this washer is HE; it seems to have long cycles; although the salesman says the front loaders wash the best; it does clean my sons dirty work clothes perfectly but the sanitize cycle is 2 hours long. I use it all the time; am learning all of the features.

I've had the washer for two months. It has great capacity, but it's hard to know which settings are the best for the load. I washed a light weight blanket and the machine overflowed soap and water on the floor. I tried many setting to complete the cycle and it was hard to know what was best.

I bought this over a month ago and so far I have been impressed. I would change a couple things with this machine if I was making it. I wish it had a light inside that I could leave on during the cycle. I used to have an LG that had a light and I miss that feature. I also sometimes open the soap drawer to add soap before starting a load and I have water drip from the soap drawer down into my pedestal. So my items in the pedestal get wet.

I bought my Maytag washer and dryer at an appliance store that had every major brand on display side-by-side. They are all very similar with similar features and similar prices. The Maytag stood out by having more power and more capacity than most. It did not hurt to have the Maytag name on the front and just plain looks better. We bought the 1st Washer and Dryer on 8/10/19. The 1st washer bounced around a lot and some of the selections did not work. It was replaced with the 2nd Washer and it bounced around worse than the first one and the Wi Fi connection would go on and off through the cycle. It was replaced with the 3rd Washer and it seems to be working fine for now.

Delivery company did not plug in and test washer upon delivery. When we went to use for the first time nothing worked or lit up on the panel. There was power to the unit because the light came on inside the drum. After having maintenance done on the unit the mother board needed to be replaced. After having that replaced the washer still throws error codes. Repair company has need to the house more than 5 times in 3 months. Hate the unit and would never buy again!

Purchased few months ago and have been super impressed every time we do laundry. Efficient, quiet and looking forward to seeing the cost savings over time. This is our favorite washer ever. Only been running it for 6 weeks now but we couldn't be more pleased. It is very efficient cycle time wise, and the capacity is fantastic. You can barely hear it run, at least compared to our last set. Our clothes come out cleaner and dry faster than our old set too. Best feature ever - the auto detergent dispense feature. Each fill lasts about 9 loads. Sounds silly but its 9 seconds I don't have to spend pouring detergent in, PLUS 9 less spills down the front of the cabinets, and 9 less sticky plastic cups stuck to the shelf!!! It looks and works fantastic. We are 100% satisfied.

There are many settings and features. Like that soap can be loaded for many loads. No need to measure and pour for every wash.

Bought the machine about a month ago. My mother had a Maytag and it lasted forever. I bought a Maytag washer and dryer and washer lasted 22 years, dryer still going. Very quiet, manual very easy to use.

Honest Review

I have 5 kids ages 7 and younger, so we are a family of 7 with a lot of dirty clothes. This washer holds a massive amount of laundry, is very quiet and honestly I love how it will keep cycling the clothes for 24 hours if we do not take them out--things happen in life and sometimes they come out of the machine the next day. This feature is the best as it stops everything from smelling. The other benefit of the front loader is that It would be hard to overload it vs a top loader, which means your clothes are cleaner. Lastly it has a laundry soap gas tank. You fill it up and can run it over and over again before having to add more soap. This is great as it also lets you teach your kids how to do laundry while avoiding messy laundry soap situations. Though I wont be buying another machine for a while, when I do, I only hope they increase the size of the soap tank. It would be great to be able to fit a bottles worth of liquid in the machine (this is why I put 4 stars for the design vs 5).

My Laundry is the Cleanest Ever!

I love my Smart Front Load washer that I purchased this year. The optimal dispense drawer is very handy, as I don't have to load detergent every wash! The great options this washer has are a bonus! I have different loads that require different cycles and this model has every option you would need! I have not tried wi-fi connect yet but its definately going to be useful! I do have the pedestals which not only looks great, but makes it easier to put clothes in the washer and easily to the dryer!

My husband brought me this washer for Mother's day 2019 and I am truly enjoying it! I really like the fact that I only have to filled the liquid washing powder container once and it allows me to wash multiple loads at a time. The only time I have to filled the container is when it is low and the machine indicates this on the dash board. This feature really helps me save on liquid washing power and it is also cost saving on the water bill.

Problem on 3rd load. ZERO help from support

We have literally 3 loads. The washer has now been stuck on "1" minute for hours. No one could tell us what was wrong when we called in. No suggestions, nothing. Would have to schedule a tech to come out on a $1,300 washing machine that isn't even a week old. If that is the level of support that we will get buying an American product, we will have to go back to Samsung or LG. They have actual tech support over the phone.

I love my front loader Magtag washer so far. It is the 2019 model. Has so many options. Had a washer before that had options that I never used. Hated it. It was a top loader whirpool. Never perfomed in using it and I paid 900$ for it. Worst washer I ever owned. Had it for 2 years. I have faith with my new Maytag washer

Disappointed

We had both the dryer and washer delivered today. During the test run The front panel fell off and needs to be re-ordered. Also, I tried setting up the WiFi and the dryer works, but the washer does not connect. Support was little help. I just spent almost 3k (with delivery and hoses) and I'm already regretting it. I was told it is a new model line (which is why I waited for delivery well past the promised date). That's probably why stuff is falling off

Love the design - it's beautiful in my kitchen

I'm still learning how to set all the features and choices - seems unlimited. Love that the control panel is up front and easy to reach. Performance has been wonderful! Side opening door allows me to reach in the far back easily and interior lights that shut off after a while is very good when leaving the door open to breathe.

Great Washer........bad customer service

So far I'm happy with the Washer......but unhappy with customer service. As I stated in my review of the Dryer, I ordered this set because it was promoted as stackable. This set is not stackable (unless you are over 6' tall) due to the slant of the control panel. I called customer service and spoke to someone in dispute resolution who told me they would send a complaint up. I asked that she send me a confirmation email. Well.....no email and no call back!! I ended up paying my contractor to reconfigure the laundry area on our new addition. The Washer is great (2 weeks in use) so far..............customer service is lacking.
