I bought my range in August and I couldn't be happier. It does not have a lot of bells and whistles, but it works great. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. I looked a several different options, and I am extremely pleased with my choice.

I bought this for a rental, but I liked it for its simplicity and easy to operate features, it's designed to be easily cleaned. Of course it's a base unit so I can't compare it to a $1,200 gas range, it wouldn't be fair, but it's solidly made and should hold up for at least 20 years because there is very little that can go wrong with it.

My original purchase was delivered damaged; a three inch chip of the porcelain was missing, through ti the dust layer, exposing the metal. I was offered $70.00 dollars to keep the unit. I ultimately declined; a second unit was delivered, this time missing key parts for installation.

I bought the Amana AGR4230BAB Stove Range in White about a month ago from PC Richards in Brooklyn, NY. My mother for whom this stove was purchased did not want any creature feature computerized elements. Just a good working, solid, easy to use stove. After about one hour of viewing all the many stoves at the store she came across the Amana and it was love at first sight. The product provides all basic essentials of a modern stove. 30 inch range, 4 sealed burners, lower broiler draw (not a storage bin!!!) and a oven on/oven off center knob. The outcome - the stove works great. My 88 year old mother is Happy! Her wonderful meals are now cooked to perfection. Thanks Amana!!

I bought my Amana stove last month. I wasn't told there was no light in the oven. There's two racks, but I have to remove one of the oven racks to use in the broiler. The grates to not set evenly, therefore pots and pans set sideways. I took one grate back, but the replacement they gave me still doesn't set straight. Also the broiler doesn't slide out. I have to get in the floor to use it. Total bummer!!

I bought this range on a whim and I'm soooo glad that I did! The stove top is easy clean up. The oven is quick heating and works like a dream. Cooked my first ever turkey, a 20 pounder, and it came out perfect! Easy to install, easy to maintain, and cooks like a dream... who could ask for anything more!

I bought this last month and it performs perfectly. I cook and bake every day and it seems to heat evenly and do an excellent job for me. I bake up to six loaves of bread at once. The oven is large enough and the heat even enough to bake them nicely.

Sealed burners for low priced stove! Minor drawback is heat kicked out by the oven vent to stove top. Also my wife says she can't tell if the oven knob temps are on the #s or the dots next to #s.

Profound Disappointment

I'm very grateful for this opportunity to review my stove, and only hope that it will be read by people at Amana who are in a position to take my feedback seriously and actually act on my experience. If I had read existing reviews of this stove I would not have bought it, because I have exactly the same problem identified by numerous reviewers. All four burners of this stove have essentially two settings: Medium and High. When lit on Low, burners produce a Medium flame. As the control knob is turned, there is no increase in the flame until the Medium setting is reached, at which point the flame jumps to a High setting. Thus it is virtually impossible to simmer, or to cook anything on what could be reasonably called a Low setting. This is clearly a design issue, and not just one person's experience. Amana is doing its customers a great disservice my not addressing this problem. Thank you.

I bought my stove a few months ago. When I was little game shows always had Amana appliances on give a ways. I always said someday I am going to have all amana appliances. I will be honest this is my first but I have not heard about amana in a very long time. I do love my stove, it cooks even and the burners are great, they cook like they are suppose to.

the only thing I am not happy with is the racks inside the oven they are 2 1/2 inches apart and some of the things I put in the oven fall thru the grate such as my muffin pans etc otherwise everything else works beautifully

I am really disappointed. The burner grates are un even. My pans wobble. Have had them replaced and are still an issue. They also are really slick and my pans slide when you try to stir anything. Also the gas is too high on the low setting. When you try to simmer something, it is actually boiling. I am not happy with this stove. Also it does not go flush against the wall. I did not know this when I purchased it as you don't see the back of it online. My old stove was flush against the wall so I assumed that this one would also. Maybe the design needs to be changed so that the gas lines can be accommodated. Maybe just a way to cut a hole for the gas lines.

We've had stove for 3 mo. and I enjoy the sealed burners. This makes cleaning very easy and frees me from being concerned about what is building up under the top. Also no pilot lights to worry about getting blown out. Our gas bill has dropped by 1 cf. I wish there was more room in the center of the range between burners.

Easy adjustment and installation.

This stove is ideal for my needs. I installed it myself. Following the instructions I adjusted the Low burner setting on each ring and now have the ideal range of heat for all my cooking. The anti tip safety bracket required a precise measurement but installed correctly at the first try. Finally, the sealed burners are so easy to keep clean, it's a pleasure to use.
